181 dot balls: India captain Mithali Raj highlights reason for loss to England in first ODI

Raj blamed both batting and bowling units for performances under PAR in India in the first ODI against England on Sunday, which was lost by visitors with eight Wickets fell 0-1 in the three-match series.
The Indian women’s cricket team put batting performance which was disappointing on the first day of international against England in Bristol. India managed to install 201 total with Captain Mithali Raj Top Scores with 77 Run. England drove the Indian target easily in an overs with eight goals at hand. Except for Shafali Verma, there is no other dough that can lead to a row of more than 100 strikes as long as they are in the first ODI.

Raj blamed both batting and bowling units for the performance below India’s standard in the first ODI when they followed 0-1 in the three-match series.

Sent to Bat, India played 181 dot balls to post modest 201 for eight.

“Yes, we need to see that aspect and continue to spin,” said Raj about the ball ball during a post-match press conference.

“We need our top battery to run. We also need to understand that British sailors are very experienced. They know how to bowl in their condition.”

Raj also said time had come for a team of Indian women to think outside the old Jhulan Goswami served and excessively by caring for muduk muduk Meadher for the future. He said the Bowler stitches his team did not get to the target.

“This puts pressure (on the opposition) if we can get the initial goal. If we don’t get the goal from the sailor pressing spinners.

“So we need to study fast bowlers other than jhulan. They must learn about how to understand the conditions and bowls well,” he added.

Raj made patients from 108 balls to help India pass a 200-run sign after the initial stop opener Shafali Verma (15) and Smriti Mandhana (10).

But the knock is not enough because Indian batters fail to play the strike and find the limit to accelerate the level of assessment.

“Our batting line must shoot at some point.

“Over the years we are much more comfortable pursuit rather than posting the target. We need to do it, we need to know how to get 250, ‘he said.

“But we can’t go bang bang and lose the goal. We need to know when to encourage acceleration and how to get it.”

It hints that there may be some changes in the composition of playing eleven in the second ODI, Raj said the management team also needs to support players side by side.

“It is important to support players, especially those who have done well in the past. Sometimes it is a bet to play stroke players. But we need to support players to consider the World Cup to them.

“Apart from the captain, coaches and support staff, voters also play a big role in it and we are in contact with them,” he said.

“We will definitely see the composition, a little shuffle in a batting command to overcome the line.”

The captain said to stand in his dusk career, it was his duty to learn his successor and the star’s future.

“… When it comes to finishers, we obviously don’t have players for slots that score at the domestic level. We need to learn someone who shows the potential in the area.

“I have gotten most of my run in slot No. 3 but it’s important to get a batter in the slot. We need to have a batter can score. I will not play long so it’s my job to study players,” Mithali said about his decision to reduce orders at No. 4 of Slot No. 3 that is preferred.
