Some groups of people, mostly armed, have mobilized – especially on the outskirts of India in South Africa and Durban Port City, to oppose attacks and lootings which have caused several Indian businesses and factories, among them, to be completely destroyed.

Overcoming the dissatisfaction of the Zulu with Zuma prison sentence, Kazwelithini on Wednesday said that violence was “not the right way to express” it. “This creates a picture of people who lose their dignity,” he added, according to the PTI report.

Kazwelthini said that the incident had brought “embarrassing” to the people of Zulu as “the fingers referred to my father’s people”. In particular, he took the crown three months ago after passing his parents in a few weeks each other.

King Zulu showed that it was unexpected for him to see “his own people so involved” in “burning” South Africa. “I have to beg all of us to take a big step back and consider the damage made by our own actions,” Kazwelithini said, adding that he “fully understood” depression born of poverty and unemployment.

The King also said that the destruction would mostly affect the poor as a significant supply chain of medicine and food had been cheated because of the ongoing violence at the important time of Pandemic Covid-19.

According to the PTI report, a former senior intelligence and other politician officer loyal to Zuma, all of whom have not been indicted or named, is being examined for becoming an instigator of violence.

Kazwelithini’s comments came when the victim was killed in South Africa from riots up to 72 on Tuesday, with some losing their lives by trampling when looting in shops. More than 1,200 people were arrested in violations of law which even caused several Covid-19 vaccination centers to close, PTI reported.
