‘Pakistan our second home, there is peace in Afghanistan’: Taliban spokesperson

In the midst of speculation around the government formation in Afghanistan, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said they wanted a strong government and based on Islam and all Afghanistans were part of. He also said that rebel groups wanted a good relationship with India.

A Taliban spokesman said on Wednesday that Pakistan “Like a second home” for rebel groups and vowed to deepen trade and strategic bonds with neighboring countries. Spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, also said that the Taliban wanted a good relationship with India.

“Afghanistan distributed its borders with Pakistan. We are traditionally aligned when it comes to religion, people from both countries associated with each other. So we look forward to deepening relations with Pakistan,” Mujahid said during an interview with Pakistan with Pakistan ary based news.

Mujahid further said that Pakistan and India have to sit together to solve their extraordinary problems, adding that the Taliban wants good relations with all countries, including India.
